Worker's Registration
All persons who are covered under the definition of "Building Worker" in the Act are liable to be registered as beneficiary of the Board. The basic requirements are as follows:
1- The person should be of minimum 18 years and maximum to be of 60 years of age.
2- He should be engaged for minimum 90 days in construction related activities.

In order to gain benefits the worker is required to contribute his annual subscription fess to the Board regularly.

Employer's Liabilities
As per the provisions of the Act the Employers are required to perform following actions:

1- Inform Authorities of Labour Department regarding the commencement of any construction activity on Form-4.

2- Registration of each site covered under the Act. The application has to be made on Format-1 along with the prescribed fees and lay-out map.

3- No employer without registration will employ any building worker after 60 days of commencement of work.
